Yuletide Letter 2024
Hello Yuletide creator!
Somehow, even though I've been in fandom for many decades, this is my first Yuletide. Everybody's got to start sometime though, right?
General DNW:
-Omegaverse
-Body horror
-Mentions of sexual assault/abuse or noncon
-Non-Canonical Character Death
-Humiliation
-"Totally different world"-type AUs (coffee shop, medieval setting, pirates, etc) unless specifically requested
-Infidelity as a major focus
-Genderbend/Genderswap/Trans characters who aren't canonically trans
General Likes:
-Established relationship
-Friends to lovers
-Idiots to lovers
-Domestic/curtain fic
-Pining
-Competency kink
-Happy endings
-Missing scenes/Filling in the gaps
-Getting together/figuring out the relationship
-Body worship

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Lenny Bruce
I love the concept of these two together. They're both fast-talking wisecrackers who hide behind jokes and humor, and they have the mutual experience of knowing what it's like to love Midge, even if it's never gone well for either of them. I see them having a real rivals-to-lovers vibe, or at the very least constantly bickering even while they're enjoying each other's company.

Coalhouse Walker, Jr
Mother's Younger Brother
Emma Goldman
This has long been one of my favorite musicals, and recently I've been thinking a lot about the relationship between Coalhouse Walker, Jr and Mother's Younger Brother, and the dynamic that might build between them as Coalhouse is looking for justice and Younger Brother is just looking for a purpose. I also think Emma Goldman has a huge hand in stoking that fire in Younger Brother ("The Night That Goldman Spoke at Union Square"), and I am completely open to a fic that explores the relationship between Emma and Younger Brother, or some combination of all three characters. I'm happy with either shippy or platonic fic with these combos.

Graceling Realm Series - Kristin Cashore
Raffin
Bann
Saf | Sapphire Birch
Skye
My ship combos from these characters are Raffin/Bann and Saf/Skye, and I'm happy with a gift that features just one ship, both ships, or a combination of any of the characters interacting with each other (either romantically or platonically). I love established relationship and "getting together/figuring out the relationship" type stories equally. I lean towards the softer side of things-- fluff, curtain fic, hurt/comfort (with an emphasis on the comfort). I also love every single character within this universe, so feel free to include them as you will.
